Fueling Now and the Future: IBIA Hong Kong Forum on Alternative Marine Energy
IBIA, together with Forum Partner Global Centre for Green Fuels (GCGF), is pleased to present Fueling Now and the Future: IBIA Hong Kong Forum on Alternative Marine Energy, taking place as part of Hong Kong Maritime Week 2026.
The Forum will bring together stakeholders from across the maritime and marine energy sectors to explore the current and future role of biofuels, LNG, methanol, and ethanol in shipping. Through focused presentations and interactive panel discussions, the programme will examine the practical and commercial considerations influencing alternative marine energy choices, including fuel availability, infrastructure readiness, operational deployment, safety, regulation, and compliance. Delegates can look forward to a balanced platform for industry dialogue and perspectives from across the value chain to consider both the opportunities and challenges associated with the evolving marine energy landscape.
The programme will conclude with a Networking Cocktail Reception, providing the opportunity to continue discussions and connect with industry colleagues during Hong Kong Maritime Week.
