A fire involving dangerous goods containers broke out on 21 September 2026 at New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT1) in Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, Indonesia.

According to information released by the terminal, the incident occurred in the Kade 820 DG Block, an area designated for dangerous goods container operations. The fire involved 51 tank containers (isotanks) and one dangerous goods container, with emergency response teams deployed to control the situation.

NPCT1 has stated that safety measures were immediately activated, firefighting operations were carried out, and investigations into the cause of the incident are ongoing.
