Position：Surveyor

Location：Shanghai

Job Description:

1. Performing surveys of classed vessels or other floating objects under construction, alteration, repair and in service.

2. Performing surveys connected with certification of materials and products.

3. Performing surveys connected with approval of materials, products, manufacturers,service suppliers.

4. Carrying out other duties and tasks as required, commensurate with the nature and scope of work.

5. Participation in acquisition of survey services in the activity area.

Job Requirement:

1. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in a relevant field of maritime engineering.

2. Minimum three years of experience in an Engineering or Survey capacity within the maritime sector.

3. Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work.

4. Flexibility in traveling is required.

5. Availability outside normal working hours if the job requires.

6. Relevant sea-going experience as a marine engineer will be given preference.

7. Relevant Newbuilding or fleet in service experience within IACS member will be given preference.

8. Passed China MSA surveyor examination (Group A) will be given preference.
