Liaoning Port and Vale signed a MoU on strategic cooperation

On November 7, Liaoning Port Co., Ltd. and Vale signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation at the 5th China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

According to the MoU signed by the two parties, Liaoning Port and Vale will explore in-depth cooperation in iron ore business based on the principle of mutual benefit.

Facing the hinterland of Northeast China, the Bohai Rim and Northeast Asia, Liaoning Port provides Vale with a full range of supply chain services such as iron ore unloading, storage, mixing and shipping.

As the first port in China to carry out the "bonded ore mixing" business, Dalian Port has fully launched the mixed ore business in 2016, and the total volume of the mixed ore business has exceeded 60 million tons, of which over 30 million tons have been transshipped internationally.

The signing of this strategic cooperation memorandum will help Dalian Port to build a world-class iron ore mixing and distribution center, and provide new momentum for the construction of Dalian Northeast Asia International Shipping Center.
