From January to August, The cargo throughput of Zhoushan Port in Ningbo reached 784.73 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 4.3%. Completed container throughput of 18.63 million TEU, down 1.2% year on year, 1.6 percent less than the year-on-year decline from January to July.
In terms of container business, Ningbo Zhoushan Port continues to optimize the collection and distribution network, adding 1 foreign trade trunk line, 4 foreign branch lines, the total number of routes increased to 247.
At the same time, the sea-rail combined transport business continued to maintain a good growth momentum, completing 96,000 TEUs that month, a year-on-year increase of 35%.
