On May 19, 2020, "HMM OSLO", the world's largest container ship, successfully docked at berth 3 of Ningbo Daxie Merchants International Terminal, marking that the container operation capacity of Daxie terminal has officially entered the age of 24,000 teus from 20,000 teus.
"HMM OSLO" is 399.9 meters long, 61.5 meters wide and 33.2 meters deep. It can carry up to 23,820 standard containers.
In order to meet the current operation of the world's largest 24,000-teu container ship, Daxie terminal actively formulated and steadily promoted berth upgrading and forward dredging plans at the beginning of this year, so as to provide facilities for the smooth berthing of super large ships.
Daxie terminal attaches great importance to it, and conducts all-round docking and communication with maritime affairs in advance to ensure that it meets the safe operation conditions.
