As China’s largest private shipbuilder,
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings continues to shatter expectations with remarkable performance in Q3 2024, setting new standards in the industry.

Record New Orders
By November 7, 2024, Yangzijiang secured orders for 98 vessels valued at $11.64 billion—an astonishing **259% of its annual order target**! Notably, 84% of these are eco-friendly vessels, aligning with global environmental trends and reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable growth. New orders include:
- 16 gas carriers
- 32
LNG dual-fuel vessels
- 17 methanol dual-fuel vessels

Strong Orderbook and Future Visibility
With 224 vessels valued at $22.14 billion in its orderbook, Yangzijiang has locked in solid revenue visibility through to 2029. A diverse order mix includes:
- 95 containerships
- 38 bulk carriers
- 64 oil/chemical tankers
- 27 gas carriers
- 75% of the orderbook comprises green vessels

On-Target Deliveries
The shipbuilder has already delivered 57 vessels this year, achieving 90% of its annual target of 63 deliveries. Advanced LNG and methanol-fueled ships reflect the company’s growing capabilities in green technology.
With less than 60 days left in 2024, Yangzijiang is in full-throttle mode, working to complete the year’s targets and continue its impressive performance.
