Hudong Zhonghua named the second 174,000m3 LNG ship built for CSSC Shipping

On September 16, the christening ceremony of 174,000m3 LNG ship "GUI YING" built by Hudong Zhonghua for CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Company Limited was successfully held.

This is the second LNG ship christened within one month after "MU LAN" on August 23. The two sides have jointly created a classic example of high-quality and efficient construction of large LNG ships.
"GUI YING" is the second LNG carrier independently invested by CSSC Shipping. It has signed a long-term chartering contract with GUNVOR and is about to complete the delivery and start chartering.

The ship has a total length of 295m, a width of 45m, a depth of 26.25m and a speed of 19.5 knots. It is classified into Lloyd's Register and China Classification Society, meeting EEDI Phase and the latest environmental protection requirements of the IMO.

Low carbon and energy saving are the mainstream trend of world development. The development and application of clean and efficient LNG is a hot spot at present. Under the strong leadership of CSSC, Hudong Zhonghua and CSSC Shipping actively responded to the national call, grasped the development opportunity of marine clean energy equipment, and promoted the high-quality and rapid growth of China's LNG energy industry chain.
