Erasmus Shipinvest Group is rapidly expanding its fleet, further diversifying its operations beyond traditional dry bulk shipping. The company has been actively growing its presence in the feeder container ship and small LPG carrier sectors. Through a series of strategic acquisitions, Erasmus Shipinvest is building a more modern and versatile fleet, positioning itself to meet the evolving demands of the market and ensuring long-term growth.
According to the latest data provided to Xinde Marine News by Alphaliner, Erasmus Shipinvest Group recently expanded its feeder container fleet with the acquisition of the 1,096 TEU vessel KISO from Japan's Imoto Lines. Although the sale price remains undisclosed, this 2023-built vessel by Kyokuyo Shipyard has been renamed ANL KIWI TRADER and has secured a charter with CMA CGM.
This acquisition marks Erasmus Shipinvest's third 'Kyokuyo 1100' series container ship, further strengthening the company's collaboration with global shipping giant CMA CGM.
In addition to feeder container ships, Erasmus is expanding its small LPG carrier fleet. Earlier this month, the company acquired the 5,000 CBM LPG carrier EPIC St. Kitts, now renamed GAS MIRACLE. This marks another strategic move in the LPG sector, aligning with the company's goal of expanding its small LPG fleet to over 20 vessels.
As Erasmus continues to diversify and grow, the company’s fleet size is expected to surpass 50 vessels in the near future.
For those interested in joining Erasmus Shipinvest, the company is actively recruiting across multiple departments to support this growth. Details can be found on the company’s social media channels.
Stay tuned as Erasmus Shipinvest continues its ambitious expansion and establishes itself as a key player in the global shipping industry.
