On November 15, China's first and the world's largest LNG transport and bunkering ship "HAI YANG SHI YOU 301" built by Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard, a subsidiary of Guangzhou Shipyard International, for CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited, is successfully delivered.
"HAI YANG SHI YOU 301" was originally a LNG carrier, with a total length of 184.7 meters and a width of 28.1 meters, which can carry 30,000 m3 of LNG.
"HAI YANG SHI YOU 301" can provide LNG bunkering services for large container ships, dual-fuel ore carriers, dual-fuel bulk carriers, crude carriers, and PCTCs. It is the largest LNG transport and bunkering ship in the world.

As global environmental protection requirements are becoming more and more stringent, the use of liquefied natural gas as a clean primary energy has received more and more attention.
The data shows that in 2021, the number of global ocean-going LNG-powered ships reached 251, more than double the number of 119 in 2017, and the order of LNG-powered ships was 225, an increase of 300% compared with the number of 56 in 2020.
