On November 18, China's largest 174,000 m3 LNG-FSRU "TRANSGAS FORCE" built by Hudong Zhonghua for CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping was christened and will be delivered in the near future. The delivery period is 5 months ahead of the contract period.
This ship represents the highest level of construction in the large-scale LNG-FSRU field of China's shipbuilding industry today, and has contributed China's strength to the global green shipping development strategy.
"TRANSGAS FORCE" is financed by CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping. It is the last of two series of ships made for the Greek DYNAGAS company. It has a total length of 294 meters, a width of 46.95 meters, a main deck depth of 26.25 meters, and a design draft. 11.6 meters, structural draft of 12.5 meters, classified into American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
It can meet the current most stringent IMO Tier III emission requirements, and reach EEDI Phase Ⅲ standards. It is a typical environmentally friendly ship and has a very strong market adaptability and prospects.
At present, CSSC Shipping already owns 20 clean energy equipment including LNG ships, VLGC, LPG transport ships and LNG-FSRU. The diversified asset structure forms a complete offshore clean energy storage-transportation system.
