New milestone! Yangzijiang sign technical assistance and license agreement with GTT

On September 8, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group signed a Technical Assistance and License Agreement on LNG MARK Ⅲ membrane technology with GTT.
 
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group has become China's first private shipyard to obtain this qualification.

GTT’s membrane technology is widely used in LNG carriers, as well as cargo containment and insulation systems on land and offshore.
 
With the rapid expansion of LNG trade, GTT’s cargo containment system accounted for 40% of all ship orders as of July 1 this year.

Yangzijiang has already secured an order for four 8,000 TEU dual-fuelled container ships from Pacific International Lines, a leading shipping line in Asia. The container vessels feature GTT's Membrane technology for the LNG fuel tanks.
