On June 2, Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with Anhui Chizhou Jiuhua Shipping and Xiamen Port Authority. The three parties will explore cooperation in ship construction, transportation operation, ship financing and other fields.
Xiangyu was entrusted by Jiuhua Shipping to build six 79,900 dwt bulk carriers, and Xiangyu Financial Holdings, a subsidiary of Xiangyu Group, provided them with comprehensive financial services.
Jiuhua Shipping was established in 2003. It is mainly engaged in domestic offshore transportation and Yangtze River transportation. The current capacity of various ships exceeds 900,000 dwt.
Xiangyu Group is one of the world's top 500 companies with strong comprehensive strength and obvious advantages in commodities supply chain, comprehensive financial services, port shipping and other businesses.
