On January 4, the data released by China's E-Gas system showed that from December 27, 2021, to the week of January 2, 22, China imported a total of 29 ships of LNG. About 1.87 million tons, at a relatively high level.
In 2021, China imported about 78.05 million tons of LNG, surpassing Japan and becoming the world's largest LNG importer.

From the perspective of import source countries, from December 27, 2021, to the week of January 2, 22, China's LNG import sources have 12 countries. Among them, 6 ships were imported from Australia, and the import volume was about 420,000 tons, accounting for 22.46% of the total imports for the week.
From the point of arrival, from December 27th, 2021 to January 2nd, 2021, a total of 13 LNG ships were unloaded in South China (including Fujian), 6 ships were unloaded in the Yangtze River Delta region, and 10 ships were unloaded in the Bohai Rim region. Among them, Hebei Tangshan LNG station unloaded 3 ships of LNG, with a total of about 230,000 tons, the largest number.

E-Gas system's data shows that from January 3 to January 9, China will import about 22 LNG ships, with an estimated import volume of about 1.55 million tons.
