CIMC Raffles and Van Oord signed an EPC contract for the construction of 1+1 large wind power installation vessels.
This type of ship is the world's latest generation of wind power installation ships, designed by the Danish design company Knud E. Hansen.
This ship has a total length of 175.1 meters and a deck area of more than 7000 square meters, which can accommodate 135 people working and living on board at the same time.
The project is equipped with a large-capacity methanol storage tank and a methanol dual-fuel main engine, using selective catalytic reduction technology, carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 78%, and nitrogen oxide emissions will be reduced to the absolute minimum.
Through this cooperation, CIMC Raffles and Van Oord will jointly promote the sustainable development of the offshore wind power industry and continue to contribute to the global goal of "carbon neutrality".
