On April 26, Huangpu Wenchong, a subsidiary of CSSC, signed a contract to build a 2,000 WT self-propelled offshore wind power installation platform with Yangtze Three Gorges Equipment & Materials, a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation.
The platform has a total length of about 126 meters, a profile width of about 50 meters and a profile depth of about 10 meters. In the middle of the platform, there is a smooth operation deck of about 4000 square meters. At the tail of the platform, there is a 2000 ton round pile full slewing crane, and at the head, there is a 200 ton auxiliary crane.
The length of the truss pile leg of the platform is 120 meters, the operating water depth is 70 meters, the self-holding power is 45 days, the sailing endurance is 3,000 nautical miles, and it can be used for unlimited navigation. It can be used for installation of 10MW and above offshore wind turbines, and the lifting height can reach 170m above the water surface.
Compared with the general wind power installation platform, this platform has stronger operation capacity, wider operation scope, and can easily cope with more severe construction environment. It is an offshore equipment to meet the requirements of future, deep sea, large capacity and integrated construction operation.
