COSCO SHIIPING Signs Procurement Agreements with Multiple Suppliers

On November 6, the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) continued in full swing at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai (NECC).

On the afternoon of November 6, enterprises under COSCO SHIPPING signed a number of procurement agreements with suppliers from Japan and Singapore at the NECC in Shanghai. Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Mr. Huang Xiaowen, heads of the Operating Management Division, Procurement Center and relevant enterprises under COSCO SHIPPING, as well as representatives of suppliers attended the signing ceremony.

During the event, China Marine Bunker Supply Company (CHIMBUSCO) signed bunker fuel oil procurement agreements; COSCO SHIPPING Trading signed a petroleum asphalt procurement agreement; and Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS) signed ship equipment and ship plates procurement agreements with suppliers.
 

COSCO SHIPPING has established stable cooperative relationships with global suppliers. The signing of the above procurement agreements will further promote the long-term and stable development of its various businesses.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Mr. Huang Xiaowen visited COSCO SHIPPING's overseas exhibitors and major customers at the exhibition area.
 

COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Shanghai Signs Tripartite Cooperation Agreement with JSFT and JSRF

On November 6, COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Shanghai, Jiangsu Provincial Foreign Trade Corporation (JSFC), and Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express Co., Ltd. (JSRF) signed a tripartite cooperation agreement at the CIIE exhibition hall of the Piraeus Port Authority.

Assistant to the President of COSCO SHIPPING and Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Mr. Han Jun, Deputy Director of SASAC of Jiangsu Province Mr. Li Xiubin, and President of Jiangsu Overseas Group Co., Ltd. (JOC) Mr. Yang Li attended and witnessed the signing of document. President of JSFC Mr. Li Juqiang, President of COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Shanghai Mr. Liu Guoqi, and Vice President of JSRF Ms. Wang Fang signed the agreement on behalf of the three parties respectively.
 

Based on the principle of “long-term mutual benefits and win-win results”, the three parties will give full play to their respective advantages and resources to strengthen cooperation in the fields of domestic and international warehousing, transportation, and import and export logistics, so as to lay a solid foundation for them to usher in a new cooperation pattern of “creating key development opportunities for each other as the preferred partners”.
