As COVID-19 continues to spread in Singapore, a number of foreign workers' dormitories have been among the hardest hit. In response, China Merchants Energy Shipping (Singapore) Holding Pte Ltd (CMESS) is prioritizing relief efforts.

On the afternoon of April 16, a truck full of masks arrived at the parking lot of Singapore's Migrant Workers' Centre(MWC). Geng Chen, Deputy General Manager of CMESS, and Raymond Wang, General Manager of Integrated Management Department of CMESS, delivered 10,000 disposable medical masks, as well as donations, amounting to $3,260 on behalf of the company. Jeane Liu, Assistant Manager of the SIP & Training Department at MWC received the masks and donations, expressing appreciation to all CMESS staff. She ensured the goods and financial support will be distributed to the affected workers.

Geng Chen expressed that CMESS has a responsibility to leverage their access to medical supplies, "I believe that we will work together to overcome the difficulties as soon as possible and win this battle against COVID-19!"
