Wuhan division of CMES successfully resumes work and production

CMES has taken proactive measures to battle the impact from the coronavirus epidemic, by achieving epidemic prevention and control, and resuming production and operation. The Wuhan divisions of CMES has maintained "zero" infection among staff. Meanwhile, production is resumed in accordance with laws and regulations.

 

Wuhan RoRo: proactive deployment to facilitate resumption of work and production

 

After the Hubei Province and Wuhan County issued notices on an orderly resumption of production, Wuhan RoRo has engaged in the preparation for the resumption of work and production. After submitting successive applications with regards to its located street and its registered street, it received the “Permit of Resumption of Work and Production” from the Epidemic Prevention Command of Hanyang District in Wuhan City on 21st March and officially resumed work on 23rd.

 

Wuhan Ro-Ro has reinforced the tracking of the resumption of work and production, production capacity and sales of major factories. By closely monitoring the updates on the work resumption of RoRo terminals along the river, it makes logical management of the shipping capacity, and carry out pre-control management on the safety of ships, vehicles, warehouses and other facilities, so as to offer a stable and safe environment for the resumption of production.

 

Wuhan Haishun: multiple measures to facilitate the resumption of work and production

 

Wuhan Haishun has made sufficient preparations for the resumption of work and production. Shore-based staff have participated in learning the prevention of the coronavirus and passed the evaluation, while the company has the disinfecting supplies ready for the resumption of work and production. After an active communication with the local authority and submission of application, the company officially resumed work on 25 March.

 

On the first day of resumption of work in Wuhan, Wuhan Haishun reduced risks through various means to ensure the safety of staff returning to work. The Company has prepared an "Instructions of the Epidemic Prevention for Resumption of Work and Production", which has stipulated guidelines on procedural protection. The Company has also conducted thorough cleansing and disinfection in the offices, and provided sufficient epidemic supplies such as masks and disinfectants for staff.
