GSI delivers a 49,700 dwt MR tanker to Nanjing Tanker Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-04-19 16:15

On April 18, the 49,700 dwt product tanker No.2, "YONG BO", was christened and delivered by Guangzhou Shipyard International, a subsidiary of CSSC, in collaboration with China Shipbuilding Trading for Nanjing Tanker.

This is the 10th "Yong" MR tanker delivered by GSI to Nanjing Tanker, and it is also the first large-scale vessel built by GSI using the circular section assembly process.
 
The ship adopts the 13th generation MR ship type independently developed by GSI, which has been upgraded and optimized in terms of compliance, economy, environmental protection, and intelligence.

The ship is equipped with an energy-saving and emission reduction equipment system that meets IMO Tier III emission requirements.The intelligent energy efficiency management system meets the requirements of class notation "I-SHIP (E)" of CCS.
