Following the first batch of orders for 15 ships, the newly established Guangzhou Yuanhai Automobile Shipping once again ordered 6 7,500 CEU dual-fuel PCTCs, expanding the number of car carriers to 21.
These orders will be built in Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry and Mawei Shipyard respectively. According to the plan, the ships will be delivered successively from 2025 to 2026.
The orders are mainly to ensure the safety of China's auto export supply chain, alleviate the transportation "bottleneck" of domestic auto companies, and further enhance the export competitiveness of China's auto products.
