On October 20, 2022, the Naming &DeliveryCeremony of M/V “SITC ZHAOMING” was successfully held by SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC) and YANGZIJIANG Shipbuilding Group Ltd (YANGZIJIANG).

 

Mr. Yang Shaopeng, Chairman of SITC, Mr. RenLetian, Genernal Manager of YANGZIJIANG, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business(CKGSB)-Alumni Association of Japan, leaders and guests from all relevant parties attended the ceremony together.

 

At the ceremony, Mr. Yang Shaopeng, on behalf of the shipowner, made a speech, expressing thanks to all the people involved in the vessel construction, and highly commended YANGZIJIANG's efforts to ensure high quality and punctual delivery under multiple factors ofepidemic, high temperature, production and power restriction. He looks forward to more cooperation between both sides in the future.

 

Mr. Zhong Fangsheng, Executive President of CKGSB-Alumni Association of Japan, Chairman of Shanghai Chengmei Cosmetics Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Japan Chengze Zhimei Research Institute Co., Ltd., christened the vessel. Later, Ms. Sai Jing, the new vessel Godmother in charge of the affairs department of CKGSB and the Japan Alumni Association, cut the cable and threw champagne gifts, cut the cable and broke the champagne, blessing her with safe sailing and full-loading all the time.

Upon delivery, the vessel "SITC ZHAOMING" will soon join operation fleet, playing a greater role in the route layout, to enhance the company's overall operational competitiveness, and provide customers with better service.
