On July 30, SHEN LAN, a fish processing vessel built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding was delivered. SHEN LAN is China's first and world's most advanced fish processing vessel at present.
 
SHEN LAN is about 120 meters in length, 21.60 meters in width, 7.3 meters in design draft, 15 knots in design speed, and 99 personnel. The vessel can meet the operation requirements of ICE-A ice area (ICE thickness 0.8 meters) and -25℃ low temperature environment. It is mainly used for fishing in the Southern Ocean and marine scientific research.
The daily output of SHEN LAN can reach 600 tons, reaching the world's advanced level. The annual output can reach 70,000-100,000 tons, and the per capita fishing amount can reach 800 tons/year, which will increase the fishing amount of krill resources in Antarctica by 1.5 times.
