SWS Offshore delivered 2 PSVs! xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-05-25 16:21

On May 23, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Offshore successfully delivered the sister ships of “GUO HAI MIN XING” and “GUO HAI MIN SHENG”, both PX121H platform supply vessels.
 
“GUO HAI MIN XING”, “GUO HAI MIN SHENG”, “GUO HAI MIN FU” and “GUO HAI MIN QIANG” are all designed by ULSTEIN of Norway. The ship is 83.40 meters long and 18 meters wide. , with a depth of 8 meters, a load of 3900 tons, a deck area of ​​840 square meters, and is classified into the DNV-GL.
 
This type of ship adopts X-BOW. The whole ship is equipped with external fire protection, structural anti-rolling tank, and DP2 system which can automatically maintain the position of the ship and forward direction under specified environmental conditions.
 
It has the characteristics of compact overall space, complex equipment system, advanced and complete functions, high construction requirements and difficult management.

In 2013, Waigaoqiao Offshore signed a contract for the construction of 2 + 2 PX121H PSVs with the ship numbers H1340 / H1341 / H1350 / H1351, which was originally planned to be delivered in 2015. This is the first time for Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding to undertake the PSV project.
