On February 28, Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding and China Shipbuilding Trading, as joint sellers,delivered the fifth 15,000TEU ultra-large container ship "CMA CGM ADONIS" to CMA CGM.
The christening and delivery of the ship marks the successful conclusion of the project of five conventionally powered 15,000TEU ultra-large container ships built for CMA CGM.

This type of ship has a total length of 366 meters and a width of 51 meters. It meets Tier III emission standards of IMO and the requirements of EEDI Phase Ⅲ. It is a new generation of green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly container ship. The ship is classified into BV.
At present, Hudong Zhonghua is preparing for the construction of 6 13000TEU ultra-large dual fuel powered container ships for CMA CGM, and the construction is planned to start in March.
