DSIC Second FPSO ANITA GARIBALDI MV33 for MODEC was delivered Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-09-02 14:30

On September 1, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry of CSSC delivered the converted FPSO ANITA GARIBALDI MV33 for MODEC. This is the second converted FPSO by DSIC for MODEC.
 
FPSO is short for floating production storage and offloading vessel. It is a offshore engineering equipment for exploiting deep-sea oil and gas resources. It can realize the exploitation, processing, storage and export of offshore oil and gas and other energy resources.
 
The ANITA GARIBALDI MV33 was converted from a VLCC. It is designed to operate at a depth of 670 meters, have a storage capacity of 1 million barrels of oil, process 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day, process 248 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It will be deployed offshore Brazil.
