On November 9, Jiangnan Shipbuilding under CSSC held a christening ceremony for the 2200TEU feeder container ship "NUKK MAERSK" built for ICBC Leasing. This ship is the last ship in the series and the one with the most complete construction technology.
 
The 2200TEU series feeder container ship project is the first cooperation between Maersk and China State Shipbuilding Corporation in the field of container ships. It was designed by MARIC and was classified into China Classification Society (CCS).
 
This type of ship has a total length of 172 meters, a width of 32.2 meters, and a carrying capacity of 2208 TEU. It is equipped with an automatic control system of the top level in the shipbuilding industry, which can meet the ability of autonomous loading and unloading.
