Hong Kong Maritime Week 2024 on Tuesday 19th November 2.30-7.30pm at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, this event is co-organised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency’s
UK Shipping Concierge and
Maritime London in partnership with the
British Consulate General Hong Kong and the
Hong Kong Maritime Port Board.
The seminar, exploring the complexities of counterparty compliance and how the industry is managing that risk and the advantages of operating assets form mature maritime jurisdictions, will conclude with a drinks reception. The event is free to attend but strictly by invitation only.

This panel will explore how counterparties can ensure compliance, in a world of regional and international decarbonisation regulation, increasingly onerous ESG requirements from stakeholders in the shipping value chain and ambitious, complex sanctions regimes.

This panel will explore whether the shipping industry’s increasing focus on value rather than cost. The changes in global tax norms and the need for corporate transparency are leading shipping interests to consider their corporate structures and how shipping clusters can capitalise on these trends in the market.
