The project and breakbulk shipping market has remained resilient in recent years, creating new momentum for investment in the multi-purpose vessel (MPP) sector.

Taizhou Nuode Shipping Co., Ltd., a fast-rising Chinese shipping investor, is sharpening its strategic focus on Twin-deck MPP vessels. Building on successful project experience, the company has already delivered three 14,000-DWT MPP newbuildings since 2023 — all placed on charter to European operators with excellent operational performance and strong market recognition.

On October 25, 2025, Nuode Shipping confirmed a major expansion plan, signing 10 + 10 additional 14,000-DWT Twin-deck MPP newbuilding contracts. Deliveries are scheduled to start from 2026, further consolidating its expertise and presence in this niche segment.

In addition, the company has four 17,000-DWT MPP vessels on order at the same Chinese shipyard, extending its fleet’s versatility for global heavy-lift and breakbulk trades.

Through standardized ship design and series construction, Taizhou Nuode Shipping continues to enhance fuel efficiency, cargo flexibility, and lifecycle economics, offering clients a practical blend of reliability and cost efficiency. The company welcomes shipowners, charterers, and investors worldwide to collaborate in advancing sustainable and high-quality MPP shipping solutions from China to the world.
