On April 17, 2025, Baosheng HK and Denmark Norden Group held a steel-cutting ceremony for the jointly developed 17,500 DWT MPP at 11:00 in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. Representatives of project stakeholders attended and witnessed this important moment.

Baosheng HK initiated this ship design, with a length of 145 meters, a beam of 22.6 meters, a depth of 15.2 meters, a draft of 8.3 meters, and a speed of 14.5 knots. This MPP was specially tailor-made by Baosheng HK for the Danish Norden Group, which has been newly designed and optimized in terms of overall scale, layout, line type, structure, cabin layout, system, and equipment. It complies with the latest Phase Ⅲ of EEDI requirements. Compared with traditional MPP, the energy consumption per ton nautical mile has been better optimized, which aligns with Baosheng HK's environmental protection development concept. At the same time, the ship design greatly improves the suitability of the shipping and can load containers, large cargoes with extra-long dimensions, etc. It can also significantly reduce the blind area of the bridge and increase navigation safety.

Baosheng HK, as a professional company for multi-purpose ships, will adhere to the excellent development and green shipbuilding concept to provide customers with efficient and environmental friendly MPP ships.
