On December 23, Zhejiang Ship Exchange Co., Ltd. (Zhejiang Ship Exchange) reached an extraordinary milestone, successfully delivering an offshore platform valued at approximately ¥400 million. This marked their total transaction volume for 2024 at an impressive ¥10.1 billion, representing a year-on-year growth of over 25%.

This achievement not only sets a historic record for the platform but also establishes Zhejiang Ship Exchange as the first ship trading platform in China to exceed ¥10 billion in annual transactions.

Founded in 2014, Zhejiang Ship Exchange revolutionized traditional ship trading by pioneering the world's first online ship trading platform. Over the past decade, the company has facilitated a cumulative transaction volume of ¥60.11 billion, successfully completing 9,130 transactions across more than 15 ship types.

Accelerating Global Growth

In 2024, Zhejiang Ship Exchange has expanded its international reach and strengthened its market position: The platform's core client base grew to over 1,100, including major national shipping enterprises, financial institutions, and private shipping companies.

In September, the company's first overseas subsidiary, Zhejiang Ship Exchange (Singapore) Maritime Trading Co., Ltd., officially launched operations in Singapore.

As of December 23, international transactions reached $700 million, a year-on-year increase of 130%.

Comprehensive Maritime Service Ecosystem

Zhejiang Ship Exchange continues to build an integrated maritime services ecosystem, enhancing its capabilities across the shipping value chain:

Ship inspection and valuation services totaled over ¥31 billion in 2024, supporting legal, financial, and shipping organizations with precise asset assessments.

The platform’s proprietary "BoSaiTong" ship management software now serves over 300 vessels, enabling shipping enterprises to improve fleet management and operational efficiency.

A Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Zhejiang Ship Exchange is committed to expanding its service portfolio and innovating business models to drive the sustainable growth of the global maritime industry. With a focus on integrating ship asset trading, data services, financial solutions, and maritime consulting, the company aims to become a leading global maritime service platform.
