On November 6, Zhejiang Seaport Logistics, Jiahua Shipping (HK), the China-EU Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone, and Wilhelmshaven Container Terminal signed an MOU at the 7th China International Import Expo to launch the China-Europe Express (CEX) service. Set to debut by year-end, this direct "Ningbo-Wilhelmshaven" route will significantly cut transit time to under 26 days, marking it the fastest route from Ningbo Zhoushan Port to Europe.

The CEX will empower Zhejiang’s role as a top cross-border e-commerce hub and facilitate fast rail links from Wilhelmshaven to Budapest, expanding reach into Europe’s core markets.
