Jiangnan Shipyard’s pioneering ULEC design, known as the "Panda 150E," recently received Approval in Principle (AiP) from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) at the 29th Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition in Greece. These vessels are designed to berth at all major US ethane export terminals and transit the Panama Canal, making them a versatile and eco-friendly solution for future gas transport.
EPS, already a key player in the ethane carrier market, continues to expand its fleet through strategic investments in ULECs built by industry-leading shipbuilders like Jiangnan Shipyard and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.
This historic order not only solidifies EPS’s leadership in the market but also represents a significant milestone for Jiangnan Shipyard and the future of sustainable global shipping.
