On 27th December, a 62000 DWT multi-purpose heavy lift vessel "YU AN" was delivered successfully to Chinese－Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company (Chipolbrok) at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The repersentatives of Chipolbrok, BoCom Leasing, PuSheng Shipping and other parties attended the ceremony.
With length of 199.90m, breadth of 32.26m, depth of 19.3m, full draft of 13.5 meters, five large hatches and four deck cranes, "YU AN" can load bulk cargos, containers and heavy lift in various sizes.
Her maiden voyage will be made on Europe-Asia route and be scheduled to sail to Indonesia to load sixteen wind power equipments before heading to Estonia.
With the delivery of "YU AN", the number of 62000 DWT multi-purpose heavy lift vessels in operation by Chipolbrok has reached 5.
The newbuilding meets the requirements of EEDI Phase Ⅲ, NOx Tier Ⅲ and latest SOx emission requirements.
