On October 17, 2023, the second 1,800 TEU container ship built by Huanghai Shipbuilding for Indonesian shipowner MERATUS LINE was successfully delivered.
The ship has a total length of 171.9 meters, a molded width of 28.4 meters, a molded depth of 14.5 meters, a design draft of 8.5 meters, a structural draft of 9.7 meters, a structural draft load of 24,000 tons, and a speed of 18.7 knots.
This is the 11th 1,800TEU container ship delivered by Huanghai Shipbuilding this year. Following the five ships delivered last year, a total of 16 1,800TEU container ships have been delivered so far.
