GSI completed the construction of 12 MR tankers for Nanjing Tanker Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-08-07 15:01

On August 3, CSSC Guangzhou Shipyard International and China Shipbuilding Trading jointly named and delivered the 49,500 dwt chemical/product tanker No. 2, which was built for Nanjing Tanker. The ship is also the finale of the 12 MR tankers built by GSI for Nanjing Tanker.

So far, Guangzhou Shipyard International has delivered a total of 3 types and 12 high-quality MR (50,000 dwt class) tankers for Nanjing Tanker.
 
The ship "FOREVER DELIGHT" delivered this time meets B3 ice class requirements of CCS and has the ability to navigate in ice zones. It is a highly adaptable and low energy consuming tanker.

At the same time, the ship also meets the requirements of green and environmentally friendly classification symbols G-EP and G-ECO of CCS, and its emissions meet IMO TIER III standard. The intelligent energy efficiency management system has obtained I-SHIP (E) classification symbol from CCS, making it a new generation of green, safe, and environmentally friendly MR product tanker.
