Workplace Incident at Tuas Port Phase 2 Construction Site Xinde Marine News 2023-07-31 14:55


On 29 July at about 9.00am, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was informed that a worker, employed by Penta Ocean-Hyundai-Boskalis Joint Venture, was found unconscious at the Tuas Port Phase 2 construction worksite.
 
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was administered by the worksite safety coordinator. He was conveyed to the hospital by the Singapore Civil Defence Force and passed away in the evening on the same day.
 
Investigations are ongoing. MPA and the contractor are providing support to the family of the deceased.
