COSCO SHIPPING has demonstrated its unwavering dedication to fostering an eco-friendlier future with reduced carbon emissions. Its efforts have been focused on encouraging innovation within the shipping industry, facilitating sustainable research on green fuel, and collaborating with clients and partners to promote green transformation. Recently, COSCO SHIPPING (Japan) Co., Ltd. and NX SHOJI Co., Ltd. struck a strategic cooperation agreement on jointly advancing the progress of low-carbon green marine energy by leveraging used cooking oil (UCO) as a biofuel feedstock to provide marine energy market represented by Japanese ports with a steady supply of this eco-friendly fuel.

In another cooperation initiative, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Technology Weihai (CHIT) and Alfa Laval have come together in an effort to promote methanol fuel systems and expedite the adoption of sustainable methanol fuel in the shipping industry by integrating the strengths of each party in technology and marketing.

Stay tuned for further updates on our journey towards sustainable development.
