President Hu Jianhua of China Merchants Group visited CMRORO to inspect the work of epidemic control and resumption of work and production. He was accompanied by Mr Tang Jian, Deputy Director of China Merchants Group’s Office, Mr Liu Weiwu, Vice President of CMES and Chairman of CMRORO, and Mr Zhang Aiguo, General Manager of CMRORO.
Mr Hu listened to the report on CMRORO's business, and learned about the company's development profile, strategies and difficulties on epidemic control, production and operation in 2020. According to Mr Hu, despite nearly half of the employees from Hubei and the location of its subsidiary in Wuhan, the severely affected area, CMRORO achieved "zero" infection, an incredible result that manifests the commitment of the management senior from CMES and CMRORO. He affirmed the overall deployment of CMES, the organizational execution of CMRORO on epidemic control and the resumption of work and production. At the same time, he also expressed sincere condolences to ship-shore employees, especially those from Hubei and Wuhan.
Mr Hu stressed that CMRORO must strictly follow the State Council's deployment, the specifications by China Merchants Group, in order to win the "three battles" in epidemic control, resumption of work and production, and annual performance target.
Subsequently, Mr Hu rang the captain of "Changxianglong" through the operation management visualization platform, inquiring about the updates on the ship's epidemic prevention, crew health, supplies and safety. Mr Hu extended his greetings to all crew members and their families, asking them to work hard on preventing the epidemic, maintaining the crew's physical and mental health, and preparing well for transportation arrangements.
