SWS won orders for two 114,000 dwt Aframax product tankers Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-04-27 17:05

On April 25, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding,jointly with China Shipbuilding Trading and Tai Chong Cheang Steamship (H.K.) successfully signed a contract for the construction of two 114,000 dwt Aframax product tankers.
 

This type of 114,000 dwt Aframax product tanker is independently developed and designed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding. The total length of this type of ship is 249.95 meters, the molded width is 44 meters, the molded depth is 21.2 meters, the design draft is 13.5 meters, and the design speed is 14.5 knots.
 
The ship meets EEDI Phase III and IMO Tier III requirements, and the emission of sulfur oxides meets the requirements of 0.1%. It is a green ship with environmental protection, energy saving, safety and economy.
 
Tai Chong Cheang Steamship (H.K.) was established in Shanghai in 1917. It is a shipping company with a history of 100 years and is also a member of Hong Kong Shipowners Association.
