CISA: China's daily crude steel production rises 2.7% in late-Mar Sxcoal 2023-04-17 10:49

Daily crude steel output at key member firms of China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) stood at 2.32 million tonnes during April 1-10, rising 2.71% compared with the previous ten days, the CISA data showed.
 
Daily production of pig iron averaged 2.04 million tonnes during the given period, increasing 1.85% from ten days ago. Daily output of finished steel fell 3.82% from ten days ago to 2.18 million tonnes.
 
Nationwide, daily production of crude steel is estimated to climb 1.25% from ten days ago to 2.99 million tonnes. The daily pig iron and steel products output is calculated at 2.485 million and 3.78 million tonnes, rising 1.02% but falling 2.32% respectively.
 
As of April 10, CISA key member steel mills held 18.32 million tonnes of finished steel stocks, 6.18% or 1.07 million tonnes higher than late-March and rising 3.48 0.96% or 615,800 tonnes compared with the same period in the preceding month. The volume was 0.91% higher compared with the same period in the preceding year, data showed.
