Recently, Wuhu Shipyard signed contracts with well-known domestic and foreign shipowners for the construction of eight 18,500-dwt IMO Class II chemical tankers.

This series of ships has a deadweight of 18,500 dwt, a cargo capacity of 21,000 m³, a length of 149.80m, a molded width of 22.80m, a molded depth of 12.70m, and a design draft of 8.50m. It adopts the design concept of methanol-ready dual-fuel and meets IMO Tier III emission standards.

In addition to being highly flexible and environmentally friendly, the vessel is also designed to transport IMO II chemicals, including methanol and various biofuels.
