In 2022, the new shipbuilding market of LNG carriers in the world presents an unprecedented "blowout" trend.

CSSC has made a major breakthrough in the undertaking of large-scale LNG carriers, which will become the biggest highlight of the high-quality development of China's shipbuilding industry in 2022.

According to statistics, CSSC signed a total of 49 large-scale LNG carrier orders last year, with a contract value of more than 10 billion U.S. dollars. The global market share of the total order volume jumped from less than 7% in 2021 to nearly 30% in 2022, forming a new pattern of LNG carrier construction market that is abreast of the three major shipping enterprises in South Korea.

At the same time, the order structure is diversified, and the cooperation with many important international customers has been realized for the first time, which demonstrates the strong technical strength and strong market influence of China's shipbuilding industry.
