CNPC realizes "ship to ship" LNG bunkering for the first time Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-11-24 14:47

According to CNPC, on November 22, CNPC successfully completed the "ship to ship" simultaneous LNG bunkering operation at Yantian Port in Shenzhen. This is the first time that CNPC has realized LNG simultaneous bunkering operation for ships at sea.


At 15:00 on the 22nd, at No. 16 terminal in Yantian International Port Area, CNPC Sales Company provided synchronous LNG bunkering service for the LNG powered container ship of CMA CGM.
 
Compared with the previous bunkering methods, this operation realized the simultaneous loading and unloading of cargo ships and LNG bunkering, and the ship berthing turnaround time can be saved at least 7 days.
