Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI) of China State Shipbuilding (CSSC) and DNV held a PCTC technical meeting in Shanghai. At the meeting, SDARI's 9,400 CEU PCTC obtained an AiP certificate issued by DNV.
In March, China's first ammonia fueled 7000 CEU PCTC, independently developed and designed by SDARI, obtained the AiP certificate from DNV. This ship is expected to become the landmark green ship of the new generation of zero-carbon PCTC. SDARI has developed a batch of new LNG dual-fuel PCTC of 7,000 CEU, 7,600 CEU and 8,600 CEU, and obtained batch orders, and delivered the world's first dual-fuel battery hybrid 3,600 CEU PCTC and 7,500 CEU Panamax dual-fuel PCTC.
