Recently, Northern Navigation Service Center, Maritime Safety Administration, People's Republic Of China successfully set up 11 virtual AIS navigation marks in the public navigation route from Yantai Port to Weihai Port, which is the first digital navigation route constructed in the Northern sea area.
The public navigation route from Yantai Port to Weiport is an important channel connecting Yantai Port to Weiport and Chengshanjiao. It is the only way for foreign trade ships to enter and exit Yantai Port. The navigation environment is complex. In order to ensure the safety and smooth navigation of the waterway, 11 virtual AIS navigation markers were set up in the waterway.
