On February 9, with the smooth operation of electronic delivery of COSCO's first foreign trade order, Liaoning Port Group Dalian Container Terminal (DCT) has the ability to provide electronic delivery of all domestic and foreign trade cargoes, and formally invites all customers to actively cooperate.This will greatly facilitate customers to carry out online business during the outbreak prevention and control period, and also marks a new step in the electronic operation of the whole process of import and delivery at Dalian Port.
In the second half of 2019, dalian container terminal co., ltd. of liao port group has successively completed the system research and development, customer promotion, realizing the electronic delivery of domestic trade cargoes to three customers,and plans to realize the electronic delivery of domestic and foreign trade cargoes in May this year.
COSCO SHIPPING also became the first customer of Dalian Container Terminal to fully realize the electronic operation of imported domestic and foreign cargoes. This move promoted the completion of paperless system construction for bill of lading, and laid a solid foundation for the full implementation of electronic delivery and online payment at Dalian Port.
Through electronic delivery service, customers can complete various operations online, which not only reduces the epidemic risk caused by face-to-face business, but also accelerates the upgrading of terminal from "offline business" to "online business".
