On August 11, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry, a subsidiary of CSSC, held a christening ceremony for the 85,000 DWT bulk carrier No. 13 built by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding for Shandong Huachen Financial Leasing. The ship was christened "TRANSCENDEN CRYSTAL".
The ship is the first new energy-saving and environmentally friendly ship built by Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding for Shandong Huachen Financial Leasing.
The ship's total length is 227.2 meters, the width is 36 meters, the depth is 20.35 meters, the design draft is 11.5 meters, the deadweight is 84,743 DWT, and the speed is 14.1 knots.
The ship complies with IMO Tier III standard, reaching the world level of the same type of ship.
At present, 26 85,000 DWT bulk carriers have been built by Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding, 11 of which have been successfully delivered. The 85,000 DWT bulk carrier No. 13 will be the 8th ship delivered by Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding this year.
