On the morning of July 28, the signing ceremony for steel cutting of a 99,000 m3 VLEC was held by Jiangnan Shipbuilding for the Pacific Gas and Bank of Communications Financial Leasing. The 99,000 m3 VLEC belongs to the PANDA series independently developed and designed by Jiangnan, which has the characteristics of high safety, high reliability, economic operation and high efficiency of construction.

On the afternoon of the same day, the keel laying ceremony of the first 93,000 m3 VLGC built for Petredec Holdings (Eastern) PTE Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Petredec) was held.
