DSIC wins order for 3 Kamsarmax bulk carriers from Golden Ocean Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-07-13 15:41

On July 8, China Shipbuilding Trading and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry once again successfully undertook the new construction project of three 85,000 DWT Kamsarmax bulk carriers from Norwegian Golden Ocean.

This indicates that DSIC has obtained orders for 10 bulk carriers of the same size from the shipowner, ranking the top three in the world in the order of Kamsarmax bulk carriers.

This signing further deepens the cooperative relationship between CSTC, DSIC and shipowners, demonstrates the shipowner's recognition of DSIC's main shipbuilding brand, and will continue to improve and consolidate CSSC's presence in Kamsarmax bulk carriers.

In the past 10 years, Golden Ocean has placed orders for the construction of more than 160 ships and offshore equipment in Chinese shipyards, with a total amount of over 10 billion US dollars.
